Need help?

Email contact@altotunchitoo.me and tell us what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened. A screenshot helps. Please never send your password, app lock PIN, or a sign-in code. We will never ask for them.

Contact us

Please send email from the address on your Panda Money account, so we can find it. For anything involving your account we may need to confirm it is you before we act.

Account and sign-in

  • Forgot your password? Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen and we will email you a temporary one. If you signed up with Google or Apple, sign in with that instead.
  • Sign in on a computer. Open Panda Money on the web, then on your phone go to Profile → Account details → Devices, tap Scan to sign in on the web, scan the code, and type the 4 digits shown on the computer.
  • See or remove signed-in devices. Account details → Devices lists every phone, browser, and connected AI assistant. Sign out any you don't recognise.
  • Forgot your app lock PIN? Use Forgot PIN? Log out on the lock screen, sign back in, and set a new PIN.
  • Didn't get an email? Check your spam folder, then use the resend option in the app.

Your data

  • Your data syncs to your account, so signing in on a new phone brings it back.
  • To delete your account, go to Profile → Account details → Delete account. You can change your mind by signing back in within 30 days; after that, the account and its data are permanently removed.
  • For a copy of your data, or any other privacy request, email us. The Privacy Policy explains what we keep and why.

Bamboo and purchases

  • Bamboo unlocks extra slots, themes, fonts, and AI features. You can earn it by logging a transaction each day or watching an optional rewarded ad, or buy a pack in Profile → Bamboo Stash.
  • Bought Bamboo but didn't receive it? Keep the app open with an internet connection for a minute and reopen the Bamboo Stash. If it still hasn't arrived, email us with the date and the store receipt, and we will check it.
  • Refunds for real-money purchases are handled by the store you bought from, under its policy: Apple's App Store or Google Play. See our Terms.

Panda AI

  • Panda AI reads receipts, text, voice, and bank statements you give it and suggests transactions. Always check a suggestion before saving it.
  • Cloud Panda AI costs a little Bamboo per request, charged only when it succeeds. Profile → On-device AI lets you download a model that reads text on your phone for free, even offline.
  • If a result is wrong, edit it before saving. Your correction is what the app learns from.

Notification capture (Android)

  • Turn it on in Profile → Auto-capture, grant notification access, and choose which banking or payment apps to read. New alerts appear in a review inbox; nothing is saved until you confirm it.
  • Machine learning (shown once you have confirmed a few alerts) can learn your bank's alert format so future alerts are read instantly, offline, and without Bamboo.
  • To stop, turn capture off in the app or remove Panda Money's notification access in Android settings.

Connect Claude or ChatGPT

You can connect an AI assistant to Panda Money and ask it about your money, for example "what did I spend on food last month?". The connection is read-only: the assistant can read your wallets, transactions, statistics, budgets, and reminders, but it cannot add, change, or delete anything.

You will need the Panda Money app signed in on your phone, and a second screen (such as a computer) for the assistant.

  • Claude: in Claude, open Settings → Connectors, find Panda Money, or add a custom connector with this URL:
    https://panda.altotunchitoo.me/mcp
  • ChatGPT: find Panda Money in ChatGPT's apps, or add a connector with the same URL.

Then:

  • The assistant opens a Connect Panda Money page showing exactly what it will be able to see.
  • On your phone, open Account details → Devices, tap Scan to sign in on the web, and scan the code on that page.
  • Type the 4-digit code the page shows into the app to approve.
  • You are taken back to the assistant, connected. We also send you an email and an in-app notice.

Things to ask

  • "What's my net worth, and how did it change this month?"
  • "How much did I spend on food last month compared with the month before?"
  • "Show my five biggest expenses this year."
  • "Am I close to any of my budgets?"
  • "Which bills are due in the next two weeks?"

Answers come from your Panda Money records. Check important figures in the app, since an AI can misread or summarise them imperfectly.

Disconnecting

Open Account details → Devices in the app and sign out the entry named after the assistant, such as Claude (read-only). It is disconnected immediately. Access also ends on its own if the assistant goes unused for 30 days. Removing the connector in the assistant's own settings stops it there too.

Connection troubleshooting

  • The code expired. Tap Show a new code on the Connect page and scan again.
  • I only have my phone. Approving needs the Connect page and your phone open at the same time, so for now use a computer or tablet for the assistant.
  • The app says "Too many attempts". Wait a few minutes and start the connection again from the assistant.
  • The assistant can't see recent changes. It reads your data live each time, so ask again. Entries still waiting in your review inbox are not included until you confirm them.
  • I didn't connect an assistant, but I got an email about one. Sign it out in Account details → Devices straight away and email us.

Report a security issue

If you think you have found a security problem, email contact@altotunchitoo.me with the details and steps to reproduce it. Please give us a reasonable chance to fix it before sharing it publicly, and don't access other people's data while testing.
